Louis Allen Nicely, 80, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born February 15, 1938, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late James Riley Nicely, Jr. and Carrie Virginia DeHaven Nicely.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserve having honorably served in the 201st Battery B. Field Artillery Batteration at Fort. Knox.
Louis was a member of the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, James L. Nicely; three sisters, Eleanor Faircloth, Kathleen Hewett, and Francis Newcomb.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Cory Bane officiating. Interment will be held at Maranatha Memorial Gardens.
