The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kevin Driscoll can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The Shillelagh

I had the pleasure of living with the Driscoll Family for awhile . At a Family gathering for a Hoiliday meal Keving said his knees were hurting and he needed a stick to help him walk . In Reva there were woods all around the house Kevin and Claudia lived and I went on a walk about to look for sticks . I found a wonderful thick stick and went to work with my magic . I worked till it was right and on a visit over took it along . When he got it he said  " Its a Shillelagh " yeah , thats what I said to Claudia as well I said . As he looked it over one of the children noticed the head kinda looked like a Dragon . He took hold of that stick and got up with little discomfort from his chair and walked a bit saying it was a good stick .

The  kids took turn playing with it and Justin showed every one how an " OLD MAN " walked . We all laughed . I know it had a good home and even got some good use . I have no idea what became of the stick , but I hope that the memory of it will bring a smile to all who were there that night .  I will hold that memory close for years to come and wonder if it has a good home now and is cared for .
