I have many fond memories of Irene. We were neighboors for all my life. She took me to my very first movie at a theatre. We saw E.T. I will never forget that. He laugh was so contageous. Such a sweet lady, who just adored her family and her boston bulldogs. I will never be able to see a boston bulldog and not think of Irene. I can't think of too many memories of my childhood that Irene and her family were not involved. I love everyone of them! I remember Debbie and Davey would fight about little things (like siblings do) and Irene would make them fight it out untill they begged to stop. Davey would come over and throw the tennis ball over the house and yell "Annie, Annie Over".. Sherri and Shauna were either at our house playing or we were at their house playing. My father even named a tree he planted from a sapling "Shauna Poo", when she was about 6 years old. We STILL call that tree that!!
Irene will be greatly missed by me and my family! I can't think about her without smiling. Thanks for the memories Irene!!!
