Obituary for Meadie Legarde Gochenour
Meadie Legarde Gochenour, 78, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2015, at his residence.
Born on Aril 29, 1937, in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Meadie Lee and Gladys "Oliver" Gochenour.
He was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a graduate of Martinsburg High School. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and retired from 3M after 35 years of service. He was a wonderful husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve McKee Gochenour; one son, Timothy Gochenour; one daughter, Cynthia Gochenour Arnold and husband, Thomas Peter. Two grandchildren, Hayden and Hana Arnold; and numerous other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Lee Arvin, Jackie Kisner, and Ruth Benner.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Brown Funeral Home. Interment at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
