Charles C. Johnson, 73, of Martinsburg passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in Camp Hill, PA.

Born June 8, 1945 in Newark, NJ he is the son of the late Fleming Pete Johnson and Lucille Green Johnson.

He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Emanuel New Life Church.

He is survived by a son, Elliot Johnson; step-children, James Thomas, Levar Williams, and Claudette Williams; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Mariah, Tyra, Jade, Kymani, Nate, Nicholas, and Phoenix,; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Skye; one sister, Eleanor Mack; nephew, Christopher; great-nephews, Trevor and Tyler; nieces, Dena, Tracy, and Michelle; great-nieces, Alycia and Briann; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends and family; and long-time companion and best friend, Ethel Thomas-Johnson

He was preceded in death by a brother, Fleming Johnson; a sister, Laura Holmes; and a nephew, Lamont Johnson.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Destiny Baptist Church, 115 N. Raleigh Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church.

Private interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in New Jersey.
