Franklin Delano Roosevelt  Staubs
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Staubs, 85, of Falling Waters passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Franklin was born on April 23, 1933 in Jefferson County and was the son of the late Charles Edward and Estelle Pauline McAtee Staubs.

He was employed by C&P Telephone Company and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Hagerstown, MD, the Telephone Pioneers, and the C.W.A. He was a Volunteer Fireman at South Berkeley Volunteer Fire Department from 1960 – 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Clara M. Brady Staubs; four sons, Anthony F. (Melinda), Roger C., Todd A. (Rosalie) and John E. Staubs; one brother Paul D. Staubs; and two sisters, Charlotte Demory and Sandra Hayes; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Valerie Elaine Staubs Holtzman; one grandson, Carlton Shawn Bartley; five brothers Edward Franklin, Charles (Bill) W., Robert C., Donald E., Fred Staubs; two sisters, Esther Mae Sims and Margaret Demory.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Sean Brumbaugh officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens with military honors.
