Charles Daniel Baker, 70, of Clearbrook VA passed away Thursday January 3, 2019 at his residence.

Born July 4, 1948 in Hagerstown MD, he is the son of Dorothy Julian Slick Baker and the late Alvey Sylvester Baker.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Gloria Jean Miller Baker; two daughters, Loretta Lynn Bachtell and husband, William, and Christine Yvonne Hite and husband, Dennis; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Baker and wife, Shawna, Dwight Baker, and Steven Baker and wife, Dina; two sisters, Nancy Castle and husband, Johnny, and LuAnn Wells and husband, Jim; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Wells officiating.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.

Interment will be private.
