On Monday, July 2, 2018 the Lord took Adam Mills by the hand and led him home. Born May 27, 1987 in Winchester, VA he is the son of Barry John Mills and Bonnie Simpson Mills. His home church was St. Luke’s United Methodist Church where he was baptized, attended Sunday school, church, bible school, and youth group. He had been a member of New Seekers 4-H Club and had rabbits and other projects in the Berkeley County Youth Fair for years and always both 4-H camp and church camp. He played little league baseball for many years. He was a cub/boy scout for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and camping and beach trips with his family and friends. He was an electrician by trade.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Lisa DeHaven, brother-in-law Troy DeHaven; brother Brian Mills; two cherished nieces McKenzie DeHaven and Zoey DeHaven; one nephew Trey Mills; great-niece Aly Mills; grandmothers Peggy Pownall and Frieda Mills; girlfriend Belinda Moyer and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had a huge heart full of love for all of his loved ones and wanted to help anyone he could any way he could. He had a beautiful smile and wonderful happy laugh.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 700 New York Ave, Martinsburg, WV 25401, with Pastor Mike Cantley officiating. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Hospice of the Panhandle, Berkeley County Humane Society, or any charity that touches one’s heart.
