Virginia Lea “Mason” Everhart, 87, of Ganotown, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home.

Born January 10, 1931 in Ganotown, she was the daughter of the late Robert Guy and Catherine Nellie “Masters” Mason.

She loved being a homemaker and mother to her five children. She was an awesome mother, grandmother and a wonderful wife, and she was the best part of our family.

Virginia is survived by three sons, Robert Craig Everhart, Bruce Douglas Everhart and wife Danielle, and Timothy Guy Everhart; two daughters Pamela Raye Everhart and Betty Lea Rodgers and husband Granville; grandchildren, Jason Matthew and Eric Christopher Rodgers; Michael Guy Everhart and Jennifer Diane McMellen and husband, Dennis; great-grandchildren, Cassie Rodgers, Hunter Matthew Rodgers and Gracie Collins; Peyton and Ryan McMellen, and other numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy L. Wolford, Peggy Wilson, and Marie Honker; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Everhart.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel of Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Central Chapel Church with Pastor Keith Walsworth officiating. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
