Condolence: I have just learned of Bill's passing over four years ago. We grew up together in the west end of Warrensville Heights. Bill and Bob May and I spent a lot of time together through the school years. Bill's enthusiastic approach to life and his infecting smile are etched in my mind. While we did not keep in close touch through the years he was a positve influence in my life. My heart felt condolences go to his wife and kids. The world seems lonelier knowing he is not in it. Rest in peace, Bill and God bless your family.

Condolence: As Athletic Director at Hiram College I had the opportunity to meet and connect with Bill on a number of occasions over the last 10 years. Our first meeting was in the Hiram College Grill, Bill was watching the Brown's before the start of a Hiram College men's game. Having never met Bill, but a Brown's fan I sat down and we began to talk about the game, Bill was not shy to share his perspective and thoughts. We laughed and I headed down to Price Gym, only to officially meet Bill and Mary later that afternoon. Bill's love for Hiram, specifically our men's basketball program was unending! I found Bill to be a very passionate, generous and engaged alumnus, always thinking about what we might do next to help move both the college and our athletic program forward. Over the years I came to appreciate Bill's gregarious personality and style. RIP Bill Myers you are forever a part of the Hiram family.

Condolence From: Mike & Pat Grogan
Condolence: The Grogans send love and prayers to you and your family. Bill was a gentle giant in so many ways but full of fire when it came to basketball. Our times with Bill, Mary and Mark were some of the best ever! We still talk about our youth basketball leagues and tournaments and his good guy-bad guy “inspirational” approach at halftime. Bill was a very special person. May He Rest In Peace. Hugs, Pat & Mike Grogan

Condolence: Bill Meyers was a loyal friend of many years. His skill as an athlete was matched only by his love as a host to friends and family. His passion was infectious and his drive ever present. Whether it was in sports or business, failure was not an option for Bill. He was generous and gregarious. Everything with Bill was big, most notably his heart. He could not do enough for his friends, whether it was hosting a dinner at his beloved Wolf Trap or arranging a lunch together. Over the years I was blessed to have spent many hours with Bill and Mary in countless settings enjoying a sports event or laughing about our various escapades. I will forever treasure those times. God bless. RIP Bill Meyers.
