Life Story for Phyllis Rebecca Thompson (Grove)

Phyllis Rebecca Thompson, 85, of Shepherdstown, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

Born February 16, 1933 in Shenandoah Junction, WV, she was the daughter of the late Julian M. Grove and Frances Brashear Wiley and step-father, Thomas D. Wiley.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Russell Thompson; children, Marsha Kay Thompson, Craig Russell Thompson and wife, Mary Anne, Mark Daniel Thompson and wife, Bonnie, Faye Ann Thompson, Todd Scott Thompson and wife, Rebecca, Lisa Lynn Thompson Hollis, and Amy Leah Dyson and husband, Pete; and six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Darlene Bauserman and husband, Clifford.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Imogene Ingle, and brother, Huyett Tyler Grove.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11:00AM at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Parker Heinzman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
