Obituary for Edna Marie "Nancy" Irvin (Gray)

Edna "Nancy" Marie Irvin, 87, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born October 18, 1928 in Montgomery County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Luther G. and Ollie Vinda Stroop Gray.
She was a member of Westview Baptist Church and a devout member of the Berean Class.
Nancy enjoyed listening to music. Most recently you could find her at the Fridays at Five on the Square tapping her foot and clapping her hands to the music. She loved playing bingo at KD Court.
She is survived by three children, Susan Twigg, Lawrence Irvin, and David Irvin and wife, Monna; 9 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Nelson and Franklin Gray and his wife, Marlene; a special niece and her husband, Barbara and Clifford Moore; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Irvin; two brothers, Russell and Nathan E. Gray; and two sisters, Iretta Whalen and Myrtle Feltner.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 3:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. John Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Westview Baptist Church, 301 S. Louisiana Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
