Obituary for Victor Bryon Potter Sr.
Loving husband and father, Victor Bryon Potter, Sr. 58, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born August 24, 1957 in Washington County, MD he was the son of the late Garlin Leroy and Elaine Maria Garlac Potter.
He was an avid musician for over 37 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed playing with numerous bands in churches throughout a number of years. He also enjoyed cooking out.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Chiveral Potter; four sons, Jeffery Lee Potter, Victor Potter, Jr. (Kelia Curry), Bryon Potter, and Christopher Potter (Amber Curry); ten grandchildren, Rayanah Curry, Kaliceya Potter, Kaylee Potter, Brendellyn Potter, Precious Potter, Wyatt Ernst, Jordan Bowers, Aleshane Bowers, Gabriel Bowers, and Aurora Bowers.; two brothers, Jerry Potter and Garlin Leroy "Tay" Potter; one sister, Sonia Potter; numerous nieces and nephews; and long-time friends, Duane McKee, Karen Rockwell, Kenny Quevedo, and James Chriss.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Potter.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 4:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Duane McKee officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 4:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be private.
