Obituary for Terrence William Hiett

Terrence William Hiett, 65, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born January 2, 1949 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Merle Hiett and Phyllis Isabell Rice Hiett Faust.

He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School Class of 1967; a graduate of Shepherd University and a historian in Civil War History. He was a veteran of the US Army. A Long time member of Independent Bible Church.

He retired from Schmidt Bakery Company.

He is survived by one sister, Debra Stouffer; a half-sister, Robin Hambright both of Chambersburg, PA; two uncles Harry and Thomas Rice, three aunts Daisy Hite, Donna Payne, and Mary Hiett.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00AM at Independent Bible Church, 2306 Hedgesville Road, Martinsburg, WV 25403 with Pastor Mark Johnson and Pastor Curt Lowery.

Interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Augusta, WV on Monday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the church or one's favorite charity.
