Kenda Ann Hertzler Miller, 65, of Inwood passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her residence.
Born May 27, 1953 in Bucks County, PA she is the daughter of Mary Cole Church and the late Wayne “Bill” Church.
She loved God, loved her family, loved her friends, and loved people. She loved her church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for 20 years as well as children’s church for 15 years. She was a member of Word of Life Ministries in Stephenson, VA.
She volunteered at nursing home ministries, funerals, and weddings through song. She enjoyed yard sales, thrift shops, and flea markets with her sweetheart Bruce. She helped coach softball at MCA and served as VP for SBLL youth football. Kenda was her children’s biggest supporter. She cheered her children and grandchildren in football, softball, wrestling, track, baseball, basketball, and cheerleading. She was a graduate of Musselman High School.
She is survived by her best friend and beloved husband of 41 years, Bruce Miller; three sons, David Price (Athena Barr), Gregory Price (Joanna Price), and Todd Miller (Liz Kelly); two daughters, Jacinta Fisher (Moises Corea) and Mariah Triggs (Michael Triggs); grandchildren, Rebecca, Josiah, Anneliese Fisher; Abigail, Briar, Isabella, Nicholas, and Blake Price; Aaron and Nevaeh Miller; Isaac, Michaela, Madeline, Levi, Silas, and Lincoln Triggs, Cameryn and Nick Protono; and Addison Fisher; great-grandchild Annalise Williams and Cali Swain; two brothers, Scott Church and Arthur Hertzler; and three sisters, Kathy Tudor, Jacinta Miller, and Diane Hertzler.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne “Bill” Church, grandson, Noah Triggs; and brother, Gregory Church.
To be absent from body . . . is to be present with the Lord.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00AM with Pastor Barry Nall and Pastor Ron Neff, officiating at Word of Life Winchester, 2560 Martinsburg Road, Stephenson, VA. Family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
