Obituary for Robert Paul "Frog" Munzer Sr.

Robert Paul Munzer, Sr. “Frog,” 53, of Ranson, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Reston Hospital Center. Born April 22, 1965, in Kansas City, Kansas, he was the son of the late John Emil Munzer and Mary Alice McGrane Munzer.
Although born in Kansas, Frog was raised in Rockville, Maryland and was the youngest of 9 children. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a mechanic for 30 years and loved every minute. He enjoyed antique shows, car shows, and horse racing. Most of all, he loved being surrounded by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Lynn Boswell Munzer, at home; 4 sons: Wayne Potts, of Laurel, Maryland, William Edelen, of Ranson, Robert Munzer Jr., of Martinsburg, and Brandon Munzer, of Charles Town; 2 adopted sons: Alex Febus Diaz, of Charles Town, and Troy Trent, of Ranson; 8 brothers and sisters, and 22 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, with the Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will be private.
