Obituary for Harlan Eugene Harmison

Harlan Eugene Harmison, Jr, 90, of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Clary Grove Nursing Home.

Born July 7, 1927 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Harlan Agusta Harmison and Lillian Elizabeth Dodson Harmison.

Harlan was a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He retired from the Martinsburg Water Department and National Fruit Co.

He is survived by two sons, John William Harmison and Dale Lee Harmison; five grandchildren; one brother, John William Harmison; three sisters, Kathleen Hinkle, Anna May Imbock, and Barbara Harmison.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Mary Kackley Harmison; a son, Harlan Eugene Harmison, II; a daughter, Brenda Kay Harmison; four brothers, Wilson, Wendell,Leroy, and Philip Harmison; two sisters, Mary Virginia Hess and Edith Wright.

Military graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Falling Waters Presbyterian Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Campbell officiating.

At his request, there will be no visitation.
