Steve Alfred Swope, "Concrete Steve", 66, of Kearneysville, WV, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at home.
Born Tuesday, December 4, 1951 in McConnellsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Willis Swope and Catherine Wilson Swope.
He is survived by one son, Steven Swope, Jr., Shippensburg, PA and one daughter, Tammy Swope Smith, Shippensburg, PA; his loving companion of twenty-five years, Ina May Trowell; three brothers, Thomas Swope, Timothy Swope, Imler, PA and Stanley Swope, Alum Bank, PA; four sisters, Sharon Rybacki, Beeler, KS; Audrey Hollar, Winchester, VA; Julie Neitzel, Holmen, WI; Margie Oddo, Charlottesville, VA and Jenny Bloodworth, Newnan, GA; four grandchildren, Steven Swope, Kayla Swope, Christopher Miller and Holly Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
