Obituary for George W. Rushizky
George W. Rushizky, 85, of Shepherdstown passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born March 11, 1932 in Riga, Latvia he was the son of the late Maria Earhardt Rushizky.
He had been a biochemist at National Institutes of Health.
He is survived by children, Margaret (Patrick) Grace of Ontario, Victor (Carolyn) of Harpers Ferry, Nicholas of Hagerstown, MD, Paul (Jenny) of Milwaukee, WI and Matthew of Baltimore, MD; and grandchildren, Kyle Grace, Katerina, Alexander, Natalya, and Quinn Rushizky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucille Riley Rushizky and a sister, Tania Rushizky.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.
