Obituary for Roy Trenton Jones


Roy Trenton Jones, 84, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home under the care of family, friends, and Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born May 10, 1933, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Mary E. Jones Jenkins and Casey Jones.
He was retired from Berkeley County School where he was a custodian at Burke Street School and Berkeley Heights for 30 years.
He is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. Fleming and Andy of Martinsburg, two sons, Paul A. Jones and Roy D. Jones and wife Mary both of Martinsburg; two sisters, Helen High and husband Leroy of Falling Waters, and Gloria High of Martinsburg; and a brother, Larry K. Jenkins of Martinsburg; He had 16 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ervin Jenkins, ;his wife of 50 years, Lorna M. Jones and a daughter, Cynthia D. Jones and a son, Leo W. Jones, five brothers, and two sisters, his girlfriend, Mary Anne Dyche and two beloved pets, Killer and Pee Wee.
Family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, December20, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Andrew Georgi, George Fleming, Ben White, Trenton Jones, Kevin Jones, and Mike Ambrose.
