Jackie Avey-King, 73, of Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Born January 19, 1944 in Morganton, NC.

Jackie was the President of King Street Reality.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Walter "Bud" V. King; one son, Lewis A. Avey, Jr. and Ruby; one daughter, Marjorie and husband, Kenny DeHaven; four grandchildren, Lewis "Jack" A. Avey III, Kenda "Punkie" DeHaven, Michael DeHaven and wife Rebecca, and Kayla Avey; six great grandchildren; four brothers, Albert, Bobby, and Earl Santymire and Pat Talent; one sister, Lois Braswell; and special cousin and care giver, Doris Brittain.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home.

Service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Gerry Fuss officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
