Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Norman Calhoun can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

A Good Friend:

Although Ed and I din't have much contact as we both matured into adulthood, it seemed as though every several years we would touch base with each other, usually because Ed would visit Lewistown to help out at the Junction Train Station. I, nor my family will never forget Ed. We were very close in high school. He probably never told you he broke my ankle during a football game with Juniata High School. We were leading 19-0 at the time. However, we lost the game 20-19. Ed and I also shared many experiences in our firefighting community. I remember one time we were sitting on some 100lb feed sacks in a mill fire after we had put the fire out and the huge floor was creaking and making noises, we just laughed. That night the floor collasped where we were sitting.

As I said, I will never forget Ed. I still find it difficult to believe he is no longer with us.

May God Share His Blessings To You and Your Family As You Face This Difficult Time.
