The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virginia Kimble can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Virginia C. Kimble (Clem)

Virginia C. Kimble, 94, joined her heavenly family March 18, 2017, while under the care of Hospice.
Born August 25, 1922 in Berkeley County, WV, she was the youngest daughter of the late Lydia and George E. Clem. The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Kimble; seven sisters; one brother; and several nephews.
She graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1940. After marrying, she and Ray lived in Frostburg, MD, and she worked for C & P Telephone Co of Maryland as a Plan Assigner until retiring in 1984. After retiring, she returned to WV to be near her family. She volunteered with United Way, Salvation Army, and especially enjoyed knitting toboggans for The Warm the Children Program. She donated hundreds of caps and also shared with family and friends. She attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Martinsburg..
She is survived by her niece, Esther and husband, Jerry Moran, with whom she lived; nephews, Frank and wife Robin Wilson and Dennis and wife, Renada Wilson, all of Martinsburg; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00PM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Julie Harris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
