Obituary for Rose Jane Jenkins (Wilson)
Rose Jane Jenkins, 88, of Shepherdstown went home to be with the Lord and Savior on October 23, 2016 at her home.
Born February 3, 1928 in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Agnes L. Wilson, she was fondly known to all as Susie.
Rose was employed by the Veterans Medical Center as a dental lab technician where she retired 37 years of honorable service. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown, WV.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew A. Wison.
She was greatly missed and remembered by her dear friend, Margaret (Peggy) Grantham and Vicky Ford of Shepherdstown. A special thank you to Dennis Williams who faithfully took her to church for years and to visit her mother in Berkeley Springs.
Her caregivers, Susan Holmes and Sherad Thornton of Shepherdstown, James and Sylvia Turner of Altamonte Springs, FL; Goddaughters, Lynn Myers of Front Royal, VA, and Bonita Brooks of Shepherdstown.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 1:00PM at Pleasant View Memory Gardens with Rev. Rudolph Bropleh officiating.
