Fulton Luther Walker, Jr. "Brother", 58, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born April 30, 1958 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Fulton Luther Walker, Sr. and Zadabelle Janice Allen Walker.

Fulton was a graduate of Martinsburg High School (1977) and West Virginia University (1981), where he was an integral part of the Mountaineer Football and Baseball teams. He then went on to a career in the National Football League with the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Raiders. He returned to West Virginia University and completed his Masters in Safety Management. He returned to Martinsburg to become a part of the community serving in school, church and youth activities.

Fulton was raised in Ebenezer Baptist Church. He later became a member of Destiny Church where he served within the Security Ministry. He was a member of the NFL Trust and the Retired Players Association. He was a Master Mason and a member of Mount Pisgah Lodge #3 F & AM Incorporated in Martinsburg.

He is survived by three sons, Kevin D. Walker, Jerome D. Walker (LaShonda), and Michael Johnston, Sr. (Altavia).; three grandchildren, Haley Walker, Emmanuel Walker, and Michael Johnston, Jr.; one brother, Jeffrey Bell, Sr.; and three sisters, Darlene K. Nixon, Chantale Walker, and Pam Hawkins (Vincent); and 12 nieces and nephews, Jack Jones, Nicole Lee, April Walker, Vincent Lee, Marsalis Basey (Michelle), Jeffrey Bell, Jr. (Kathleen), Nyesha Basey, and Tatiyana Walker (God Daughter), Janea Hamilton, Tramayne Hawkins, Jared Hawkins, and Brelyne Hawkins; one uncle and three aunts, Reverend Louis Allen, Helen Fox, Reverend Beatrice Carter (Melvin), and Janet Warden; a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2 pm at Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Fulton L. Walker, Jr. Scholarship Fund at any City National Bank location.
