Obituary for Dean Phonse Heck

Dean Phonse Heck, 49 of Kearneysville, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the George Washington University Hospital. Born June 20, 1967 in Wilmington, DE
He was the son of Earl McCormick and Joan Wallen of Martinsburg. He was an assistant starter at the Charles Town Race Track. In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Steve Holiskey and wife Tina, of Martinsburg and James “Dusty” Holiskey and wife Tina, of Inwood, two sisters, Maxine Householder and husband Eric, of Martinsburg and Charlene Pitman, niece, Jamie Collyer; special friend, Odessa Cleland; step-daughter, Jessa Luzzi, all of Charles Town, and many other nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1:30 PM, July 22, 2016 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Chaplain Joel Hiraldo officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA Animal Welfare Society, PO Box 147, Charles Town, WV 25414.
