Obituary for Paul Alexander Mowatt

Paul Alexander Mowatt, 83, of Hedgesville, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born June 23, 1933 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late James Floyd and Helen "Van Overmeer" Mowatt.
Mr. Mowatt was Deputy Director of Flight Projects at Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt , Maryland before he retired in 1995 and he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Hines Mowatt; two sons, David Paul Mowatt and Stephen James Mowatt; two grandchildren, Samuel Paul and Bayley David Mowatt; and many beloved nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael John Mowatt.
Family will receive friends Tuesday July 19, 2016 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the funeral home with Father Brian Shoda officiating. Interment will be in Hedges Chapel Cemetery.
