Obituary for Melvin M. Malatt

Melvin M. Malatt, 91, of Inwood, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Clary Grove.
Born July 26, 1924 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Franklin S. Malatt and Cora Bell Proctor Malatt.
He was employed with Frye Orchards for 64 years. He was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church and the Martinsburg Lodge #120, the Loyal Order of Moose, Honorary member of the American Legion and the VFW.
He is survived by five sons, Charles A., Marion E. Malatt and wife Tammy, Roy Malatt and Richard Malatt, all of Inwood, and Melvin L. Malatt of Martinsburg; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Douglas L. Malatt.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Pauline E. Warfield Malatt, on June 13, 2008, five sisters, and two brothers.
Family will receive friends Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Homes; South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2016 at the chapel with Pastor Bruce Shinghas officiating. Interment will be held in Pleasant View Memory Gardens
