Marion Frances Brannon, 84, of Martinsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 under the care of hospice surrounded by her family.

Born July 4, 1931 in Berryville, VA she was the daughter of the late John and Esther Abrecht Dorsey.

She had worked at various local restaurants including Apple Inn, Meadow Lane, and The Market House.

She is survived by a son, John Brannon; two daughters, Reba LeMaster of Baltimore, MD, Frances "Sissy" Berryhill of Inwood, WV; two step-daughters, Barbara Dunn and Virginia Simmons both of Texas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and eleven step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lester Brannon, Sr.; two step-sons, Roy "Pete" Brannon and Victor "Doc" Brannon; one brother, John "Buck" Dorsey; and four sisters, Thelma Bishop, Maude "Nellie" Fravel, Louise Godlove, and Bessie Dorsey.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
