On August 12, 1940 a special angel was born, Bertha Gail Turner, daughter of the late Howard Turner and Jewel Geneva Davidson Turner Powell in Guntersville, AL. On May 23, 2016 Gail departed this life to start a new life with her Lord Jesus Christ.

Gail's story begins with her parents moving her and her brother to Washington, DC for work opportunities. Later Gail met and married Philip Tinsman, they began their family in Washington, DC with their two sons, Douglas and Raymond.

Gail and Philip moved to Wheaton, MD where they had two more children, Cathy and Jeffrey. They lived several years in the Wheaton area; where Gail began her career with Giant Food as a meat wrapper until retirement after 32 years. Then they later moved to Martinsburg, WV to settle and raise their family on what is known as "Rainbow Ends". Gail and Bob along with two of the children reside on the property in their own homes at this time.

She is survived by her present husband, Robert Charles Kuchenbrod; three sons, Douglas Tinsman and wife, Penny, Raymond Tinsman and wife, Cathy, Jeffrey Tinsman and wife, Penny Ann; one daughter, Cathy Largent and husband, Scott; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Philip Tinsman; a brother, Billy Turner; and step-father, Lt. Colonel Dudley Powell.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Terri Cofiell officiating.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
