Obituary for John Robert "Jay" Koestner

John “Jay” Robert Koestner, 82, of Bunker Hill, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at the VA Medical Center.
He was born September 2, 1933, in Staten Island, NY.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Jay enjoyed the simple things in life he liked gardening, and horse racing.

He is survived by his life partner of 36 years, Barbara Dorr; his children, Milton, Rodney, and Clinton and his wife, Cheryl, Dorr and Teresa Haines and her partner, John Clark, Jr.; eighteen grandchildren, including two special grandchildren, Little Milton, and Trisha Haines; twelve great grandchildren, and a special friend, Mike.

He was preceded in death by two children, Mark Anthony and John Luther Dorr.

Services and interment will be private.
