Brian Steven Butts, 51, of Martinsburg passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

Born November 1, 1964 in Martinsburg, he is the son of Boyd Siebert Butts and Patricia Fern Hite Butts.
He attended Johnsontown Bible Church.

Brian was an avid Mountaineers' fan and a motorcyclist. He also built engines for high performance automobiles.

A graduate of Hedgesville High School, class of 1983, he was always ready to help others in need and had a knack for storytelling and making people laugh.

He was a member of Berkeley Lodge #37 AF and AM.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Brooklynn Butts; a step-son, Dustin Church; two grandchildren; a brother, B. Craig Butts; and three sisters, Beverly Butts-Fritts, Brenda Fowler, and Belynda Stateler; and a number of aunts, uncles, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Tiffany Everhart.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2016 at Johnsontown Bible Church with Pastors Jim Bishop and Jack Rudy officiating.

Family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Johnsontown Bible Church and one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Interment will be in Hedgesville Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites by Berkeley Lodge #37.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnsontown Bible Church, P.O. Box 301, Hedgesville, WV 25427.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
