Obituary for Sylvia "Jeannie" Mason (Barrett)

Sylvia "Jeannie" Mason, 78, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Clary Grove.
Born December 12, 1937 in Berkeley County, WV she was the daughter of the late Sam and Myrtle Smeltzer Barrett.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.
She had been employed with S & S Motor Parts, which her and her husband had owned. She was a life-long member of Norwalk Car Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Holben and husband, LeRoy; two grandchildren, Renee Ashby and husband, Eric, Allen Holben, Jr. and wife, Stephanie; three great-grandchildren, Cody Ashby, Trinity Jacobs Holben, and Jace Holben; one great-great-grandchild, Elyana Ashby; one brother, Bruce Barrett, Sr.; brother-in-law, Max Landis; sister-in-law, Sylvia Kesecker; a cousin, Anna P. Rockwell who was raised like a sister with Sylvia; a special niece, Theresa Faye; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Mason, Jr.; three brothers, Freddie, Jerry, and Dickie Barrett; two sisters, Mary Ann Sandridge and Sammy Barrett; and two sisters in infancy, Dale and Betty Rae Barrett.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Arnold Brown officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
