Obituary for Lucille Rosa Allen (Williams)

Lucille Rosa Williams Allen, 86, of Kearneysville, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in the Berkeley Medical Center. Born July 27, 1929 in Charles Town, she was the daughter of the late Rosa and Archie Williams.
Lucille was a member of the Kearneysville Community Baptist Church and loved to cook, especially making homemade bread.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years, George Lewis Allen, son, Herbert Barnes and wife Claudia, of Pittsburgh, PA, two daughters, Frances Williams and Rosa Earlene McDowell, both of Jersey City, New Jersey, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Timothy Williams, brothers, Raymond and James Williams, sisters, Dorothy Williams, Frances Barnes, Gertrude Williams, Odessa Jackson and Thelma Ferguson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Kearneysville Community Baptist Church with the Rev. John Green officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
