Obituary for Thomas Richard Benjamin
Thomas Richard Benjamin, 77, of Glengary, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his residence.
Born October 27, 1937 in Rockford, IL, he was the son of the late William Bradford Benjamin and Helen Josephine Trilong Benjamin.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his two sons, Mark L. Benjamin of Glengary, and Michael L. Benjamin of Middleway; two daughters, Rhonda L. Navarro of Lawton, OK, and Roxanne L. Ring of Arizona; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two half sisters, Marie McAdam of Decalb, IL and Nancy Potter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Marie (Williams) Benjamin; and two brothers, David W. Benjamin and Curtis L. Benjamin.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 1:00PM at the South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Don Cherry officiating. Military graveside services will be held at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Glengary.
