Frank J.  Wranitz
Frank J. Wranitz, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

Born February 27, 1936 in his grandmother’s home in Avenel, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank S. Wranitz and Mary Elizabeth Sukics Wranitz, and Helen R. Sukics Wranitz.

He worked as a draftsman and designer in commercial and industrial kitchens and was the owner of a commercial food service equipment business in Hagerstown, MD.

Frank was a 1954 graduate of Woodbridge High School in NJ. He attended Rutgers University and then served in the Army National Guard 1958-1964. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church and former member of the Martinsburg Jaycees, Kiwanis, and Elks Lodge #778. He also was Commander of the Hagerstown Power Squadron. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved dogs, horses, and Western films.

Frank is survived by his beautiful wife of 56 years, Michelina Ricucci; two brothers, Robert Wranitz and late wife Candace of Woodbridge, NJ and Bill Wranitz and wife Theresa of Auburn, PA; four daughters, Patrice Emery and longtime companion Ron Akright of Palmyra, PA, Frances Henry and husband Mark of Martinsburg, WV, Charlotte Keefer and husband Brenton of Scituate, MA, and Roberta Meinzer and husband Chris of Pittsburgh, PA; and nine grandchildren: Austin Emery, Ame Emery, Jacob Henry, Natalie Henry, A.J. Keefer, Forrest Keefer, Michelina Meinzer, Elizabeth Meinzer, and Emmett Meinzer. Frank is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Friday, July 24th at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, July 25th at Westview Baptist Church followed by interment at Rosedale Cemetery.
