Obituary for Susan Jane Butts (Johnson)
Susan Jane Johnson Butts, 64, of Martinsburg, passed away, Friday July 3, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Born March 24, 1951, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Harold Johnson and Evelyn Jacobs Johnson.
She had been employed at the IRS. Center.
Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by, her lifelong companion, and best friend Richard "Rick" Butts; one daughter, Carina Roberts and husband, Martin "Marty" ; one son, Jason Butts, eight grandchildren, Cory Roberts, Courtney Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Emily Anderson, Dylan Anderson, Zoey Butts, Sophia Butts, Jacob Butts; five brothers, Douglas Johnson, Harvey Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Richard Johnson, Stephen Johnson; one sister, Evelyn Schoppert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers.
Family will receive friends Thursday, July 9, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Fraley officiating. Interment will be held in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
