Obituary for Betty Rosella Saunders (Richard)
Betty R. Saunders, 86, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born June 9, 1928 in Hedgesville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Letha Ashton Richard.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of Hedgesville High School class of 1946.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Schoenberger; three grandchildren, Richard Benjamin Saunders, Holly Nicole Downs, and Stephen James Schoenberger; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Tristin, Noah, and Lucas; and one sister, Edna Filson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Saunders; a son, Richard Lee Saunders; two brothers, Paul and Jim Richard and sister, Inez Miller.
Family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30, Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Brown Funeral Home
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 Saturday, May 23rd, at Rosedale Cemetery.
