Obituary for Arlene Catherine Hamilton (Ryman)
Arlene Catherine (Ryman) Hamilton, 81, of Ranson, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Heartland Nursing Home.
Born January 28, 1934 in Millville, she was the daughter of the late Edward Ryman and Zella Kuhne Ryman, and was a graduate of the Harper's Ferry High School, Class of 1951.
She was a professional horseman and trainer for the Charles Town Race Track. She also was a member of the HBTA in Charles Town.
She was a member of the Millville Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her son, Alfred Glen Morrison; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-children, several nieces and nephews; and family and friends; and one brother, Cecil Ryman and wife, Mary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hamilton; one sister, Juanita "Sis" Ryman; and two brothers, Garland "Sonny" Ryman and Mervin Ryman.
Services and interment will be private.
Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.
