I remember when we found out Doug and Iriz were expecting our precious first grandchild. I was so excited, when I went to work that day I went through the building telling everyone..... I'm going to be a grandmother, I'm going to be a grandmother!!!! Everyone there was excited for me.
Then when we found out he was a boy we were excited about that and told his great grandmoher, who was sick at the time that it was a boy. She asked was he born, but we told her no, they had an ultrasound done. She was so happy even though she had told them she wasn't old enough to be a great grandmother. lol Sadly, she went home to be with the Lord before she got to meet him. I am sure she was very excited to see him when he arrived in Heaven as were so many others who had already journeyed there.
I know his PopPop, who just went home about 5 weeks ago, was thrilled to see him. He was so worried the first time Doug and Iriz brought him out here from California that Doug C wouldn't come to him since he didn't know him, but Doug C took to him right away and he was overjoyed! They were best buddies from that day forward!!
He loved his Oma too because I loved making him cheese plates, which he loved, and that was the first thing he looked for when he got here. He knew I would have one for him. I loved spoiling him and his brother having the good foods they liked when they came down. We always had great times together, wherever we were and whatever we were doing.
Doug C, my heart is breaking so much and you will be in it forever!! Don't ever forget that I Love you so much more that words can say!!!! Oma
