Dear Bev, Larry, Sara and Lauren, Craig and I were deeply saddened to learn of Joe's passing. Even though he hasn't been himself for a while, it is still so hard to loose our dad and granddad. He was a man of God, family, great kindness, compassion, and highly respected. You were truly fortunate to have a man such as your father/grandfather in your life. I found a poem that has helped me the last two months and I hope it helps you: Miss me but let me go When I come to the end of the day, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love we once shared Miss me, but let me go For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone It's all a part of the maker's plan, A step on the road to home When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds Miss me, but let me go. Craig and I love you so much. We will keep you in our prayers and are hear if you need anything. PS Joe tell the Chief I said "hi".
