Obituary for Roy Emmanuel Stevens

Roy Emmanuel Stevens, 94, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Canterbury Center.
Born July 4, 1920 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Edward Stevens and Virgie Mae Easterday Stevens.
He was a member of the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from the VA Medical Center.
He also was a member of the Isaac Walton League.
He is survived by his wife, C. Elizabeth Shifler Stevens; son, Robert L. Stevens and wife, Luanne; two grandchildren, Robert L. Stevens, Jr. and Sheila J. Stevens; six great-grandchildren, Karisa, Meghan, Chelsea, Kirsten, Joshua and Bradley; and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Leon, Charles, Jesse and William Stevens; two sisters, Theora Grove and Mildred Grimm.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 11:00 Saturday, Feb. 14th, at Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church with Brother Marsh officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
