Meade Tucker  Linton Jr.
Meade Tucker Linton, Jr., 83, of Inwood, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born July 21, 1931 in Berkeley Co., he was the son of the late Meade T. Linton, Sr. and Mercell Manor Linton.

Tucker was a member of the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church.

He was the owner of Tucker Tire and had been a truck driver and farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Lou Swisher Linton; three sons, Michael Linton and wife, Becky; Edward Linton and wife, Belinda, and Brian Linton and wife, Dawn; four grandchildren, Rachel Cagle and husband, Lonny, and their two children, Sydney and James, Kristen Yurish and husband, Joey, and their two children, Kilie and Aidric; two grandsons, Brian Cody Linton and Jared Linton; and one sister, Donna Jean Kisner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Philip Linton.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home’s South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 22, at the Chapel with Rev. Wayne Frum and Rev. Walter Bowers officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
