Obituary for Douglas E. Faircloth

Douglas E. Faircloth, 60, of Bunker Hill, peacefully went to be with God at his home. He was blessed by many family and friends visits during his last weeks at home.

Born July 25, 1954 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of the late Carl W. Faircloth, Jr. and Nancy L. Furry Faircloth.

Doug was employed at Southeastern Container, Winchester, VA for 16 years. He was of Pentecostal faith.

Survived by wife of 36 years, Debbie (Day Day) and son, Brian; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hayden and her little brother, Henry Gardner. Brother Greg Faircloth and Annette, of Arden; brother-in-law Tim Shank & Beth of Gerrardstown; brother-in-law Doug Shank and wife, Debby of Bunker Hill; sister-in-law Glenda Miller of Martinsburg; step-mother, Karen Faircloth, of Delaware, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, close family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Gloria (Sue) Starliper; brother, Ronald L. Faircloth; father and mother-in-law Gruver A. Shank and Edna L. Shank; and brother-in-law, Kenneth G. Shank.

Family will receive friends from6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Private service and interment.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mountainside Tabernacle Church, 408 Pa Kath Lane, Martinsburg, WV 25403. Mountainside Tabernacle Church has a special place in our hearts because this little country church originated it's start in 1939 by Doug's Granddad, Carl W. Faircloth, Sr.
