Obituary for Wilda Maxine "Billie" Nesmith (LaFollette)

Wilda Maxine “Billie” Nesmith, 89, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014, at her home.

Born November 15, 1924 in LeHew, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Foley LaFollette and Virginia Dale (Arnold) LaFollette.

Mrs. Nesmith retired from Crown Cork and Seal in Winchester, Virginia.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Darlington and Gail Horne; three grandchildren;
Aaron, Travis, and Morgan; four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Asher, Abigail and Taylor; one brother, Glenn Rollings LaFollette; one sister, Iris Vivian Holiday; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilmer O’Dell Lupton and second husband, Douglas Nesmith.

Services and interment will be private.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
