Message: John was just a little boy when his mother and I became friends. This friendship is a forever one, and forever I will remember the young boy who became a handsome man, a soldier, and a dad. But through it all I remember the kind and gentle twinkle in his eyes, and I remember hearing about what a great American soldier he was and the sacrafices he made for our freedom. But most of all, I will remember his mother Judy telling me how much her beloved son,John had come to love the Lord Jesus Christ. I remember the constant petitions and prayers that his mother kept sending to our Father in Heaven on John's behalf. I pray for peace and salvation for all of the family members, and I believe that John's name will be recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life, and after all is said and done, this is what counts.
