Obituary for Rex Rinker
Rex Rinker, 93, of Martinsburg, WV died on Tuesday, September 16, 2014.
He was born October 21, 1920.
Rex was a builder and restorer by trade. He loved trains and planes and animals. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church his entire adult life.
Rex is survived by his wife, Gail Carpenter, by nephew, Kinny Valz of Olympia, WA, niece, Martha Mullen of Middlothian, VA and Reba Myers of Inwood; several grand-nephews/nieces, and their children; extended family, Sonny & Janet Martin, Keith and Kathy McClung, and Jim and Linda Sullivan.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00AM at Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert G. Brennan, Jr.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Calvary's restoration project will be much appreciated.
