Maryah Marie McGill-Keatts, 9, of Great Cacapon, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident.

Born February 28, 2005 in Hagerstown, MD she is the daughter of Donald Edward Keatts, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD and Meggan Marie McGill of Great Cacapon.

She was a student at Warm Springs Intermediate School and formerly attended Eagle School Intermediate.

She was active with the cheerleading team Williamsport Bears and formerly Inwood Chargers Cheerleaders. She had a great love for animals aspiring to become a veterinarian. She attended Gateway Ministries in Williamsport and she had a love for Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her step-father, Walter Weaver and step-mother, Alisha Keatts; one brother, Mason Matthew Keatts who was her best friend and whom she adored; maternal grandparents, Charles & Rose Kline; paternal grandparents, Michael & Joy McGill; aunts and uncles, Eric and Renee Ashby, Allen and Stephanie Holben, Michael M. McGill, Morggan McGill, and Ryan Lee; and a number of cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00AM at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
