Obituary for Barbara Jean Sims (Hensler)

Barbara Jean Hensler Sims, 76, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born April 27, 1937 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Delphia Tharp Hensler.
She is survived by her three sons and one daughter, George W. Sims II, Dennis L. Mason (Tara L.), Jay W. Mason (Barbara), and Tara S. Mason, all of Martinsburg; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Heather, Chanda, Evan, Jake, and Matthew; a number of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wade Bucky Hensler and Lanny Hensler, both of Martinsburg; and a sister, Shirley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George William Sims; son, John Trayer Mason; and sister, Lavonne Effland.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home with Chaplain John Waidande and Chaplain Bruce Hansen officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
