Obituary for Mervin Augusta Baylor

Mervin Augusta Baylor, 75, of Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born August 27, 1938 in Charles Town, he is the son of Lucille V. Baylor, of Martinsburg.
Mr. Baylor was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retired from Capitol Cement and Hollywood Casino.
He was a graduate of Page-Jackson High School in Charles Town.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Melvin A. Baylor, of Bronx, NY, and Michael A. Baylor, of Ocala, FL; six grandchildren; one sister, Georgene Brown, of Martinsburg; special friend Erin Banks, of Martinsburg; one aunt, Genevieve Baylor, of Charles Town; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Louise Stone Baylor; one son, Derrick Winston and one brother, Leslie H. Baylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, a Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Robinson officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday.
